My first video call with Kim and Brett started with the statement “We don’t think we want a photographer for our wedding.” — Fast forward to their wedding weekend where I spent not only their wedding day with them but their rehearsal night as well. My favorite parts of the weekend included; homemade lasagnas for dinner, their nieces and nephews consistently taking cell phone pics of them, Kim’s smile, and the parade that led them back to camp after the ceremony. A parade you ask… ooh just a couple of close friends and Kim’s mom on the trumpet playing music as everyone made their way up the hill.
